Plume - Flowers & Chocolate

Plume is a flower boutique that offers quick delivery of personalized gifts for a close friend or a partner. Their wide selection of exotic flowers, Belgium chocolate and luxurious identity makes them stand out from the rest of the flower boutiques.

Objective

The goal was to create a visual identity along with print and online materials that were simple, beautiful and most importantly, luxurious. The identity had to differentiate itself from competitors with its uniqueness.

Challenge

Implement exotic flowers into a simple, clean and somewhat geometric logo.

Solution

The logo simplifies the exotic plumeria flower (also known as frangipani) just enough to remain recognizable. Geometric shapes were then added to give the mark a stylized look, some of them inspired by the hibiscus' most recognizable feature: its long central style.

After lots of brainstorming, many more concepts, testing and fixing, the logo was born. It consists of elegant and unique typography complemented by a simple and luxurious mark.

Two navy blue business cards, front and back, angled over a decorational pink-red illustrated hibiscus flower on a beige background.
